THE FULCRUM SERVICES
The officers and professional staff of Fulcrum have performed commissioning services and energy management on projects totaling more than $2.3 billion across the country. Representing an average individual experience of 20 years, each team member has held a line position in the management of capital, construction, energy, and operations. While Fulcrum as a company is relatively new, the founding members' past experiences with a multitude of Fortune 500 companies and prestigious institutions bring an established history of national recognition. It is this collection of unprecedented individual experience that forms the foundation of Fulcrum.
 

STEPHEN W. KRETZMER, P.E., C.E.M., Vice-President, Operations and Commissioning

Stephen possesses more than 14 years of building commissioning, operational management, energy management and marine engineering experience. Steve provides overall team leadership for Fulcrum's Building Commissioning services.

At present, Steve is currently leading the Sea Island Commissioning relationship that includes over 450,000 GSF of 5-star hotel space and mechanical systems including a central chilled water plant. Total project costs are greater that $550 million. Stephen is also a key member in the building commissioning of Durst Corporation's One Bryant Park a 2.1 million GSF LEED platinum commercial high rise located in midtown Manhattan.

Prior to joining Fulcrum, Stephen was responsible for leading and managing commissioning engagements for clients including The American Museum of Natural History, Vassar College, New York State Office of Mental Health, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh, New York University and Washington & Jefferson College. He has led numerous engagements for animal research including ABSL-3 and BSL-3 laboratories. He has also served as Director of Utilities for Columbia University Central Power Plant. There he commissioned a 400,000 lbs/hr high-pressure boiler plant, 7,500 ton chilled water plant and numerous auxiliary installations.

He has also worked as an energy manager and performance engineer throughout the tri-state areas. Representative clients and engagements include: Johnson & Johnson Corporation, Pfizer, Merck Pharmaceutical,: Columbia University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yale University, Rutgers College, New York University Medical College, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospitals.

Mr. Kretzmer received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from S.U.N.Y Maritime College and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He also is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). In addition, Mr. Kretzmer holds a high-pressure boiler operator license and refrigeration license in New York City
